It's late in the afternoon, I took a gamble on grabbing a lb of roast pork for dinner along w/2dozen frozen shrimp dumps & could not make the drive home w/o sampling the roast pork! OMGosh delish, perfect fat to meat ratio but skin was "chicharronesque" crispy. To top that, well to try at least...I also got two steamed minced beef rice rolls & thirds are free apparently, or was it my charm?????

My go-to for steamed rice noodles for my husband. He loves their dry baby shrimp rice noodles because Happy Corner 13 puts some sort of diced up vegetable inside with the dry baby shrimps. Service is pretty quick but it's always better to call ahead for a pick up order.

Dim sum is pretty good here. Hot and freshly made. Restaurant is quite small with limited seatings and service. I see most people buy take out instead.

Nice boss lady and good food for neighborhood chop house. They have a special on the rolls. Shrimp rolls and beef rolls. Buy 3 get one free. They steamed them fresh when you order.

My youngest was hangry (that's his term!) and happenned to notice this small restaurant. Thank goodness because we still have am gour before an event! I needed something to fill him just a bit but not too much so he can still enjoy our dinner. I ordered the leek & shrimp fried dumpling (4pcs for $6.50) and it was a surprise hit! I thought it was expensive but for the price and the size, it was actually decent. The dumplings were tasty and addictive! Will definitely come back for more!

This place always hits when I need to dim sum fix (or need to curry favor with my in-laws & parents). Every time I've come in here, I'm always getting service with a smile. While there is limited seating here, This place is mainly pick up for quality Hong Kong style dim sum and quick meals, such as noodle soups and rice dishes. They also have roast meats, such as duck, char siu, and soy sauce chicken hanging in the window. If you have and are looking for an authentic Cantonese meal, try one of their Clay Pot rice dishes, such as preserved meat. Almost as good as grandma's! I've never had a bad meal here. Their dim sum prices are less than what you'd pay for at a traditional restaurant with the rolling cart aunties, but the taste is just as good. However, it will be a bit more than something you'd get at a bakery. A plate of shrimp rice rolls (ha cheung fun) will set you back at least $6. A plate of shumai is roughly about $5. They don't have delivery that I know of, but they participate in delivery services (Fantuan, Uber). Do yourself a favor ... go there in person to see what fresh selections they have and pick it up, the cafe's prices are way less. Only drawback is that this place is TIGHT. There is limited seating, really only a few tables accommodating 2- 3 people, with one table in the back that can accommodate 4 people. While I'm sure they can accommodate, this is not an ideal place for groups or folks with strollers or wheelchairs, so plan accordingly. Since there is limited seating, and it's mostly a pickup and take out place, parking is hit or miss, but doable. You're either scoring a parking spot on the side of the Horace Harding Expwy, or you're circling around the side streets.

Came to satisfy our rice noodle roll craving without running to Flushing. This is mainly a take out place with 4 or 5 small tables in a narrow walkway to dine in. Dim sum tastes better right away, but everything was delicious take home never the less. The beef tripe was cooked fresh just for me, and worth the wait. Well cooked in a brown sauce w pieces of chayote or Buddha hand squash 4/5. Soy sauce chicken was good 3-4/5. Soy sauce chicken pork congee is a great comfort food for a rainy day3-4/5. Too full to rate the bean curd roll and the sticky rice with lotus leaf. The Choy Sum in oyster sauce is good. Located north of the LIE and nearby street parking available. Although prices are higher than what's pictured, still affordable and more than what you'd get from a regular restaurant.
